Safaricom PLC has launched Bundle Ya Wakulima, an integrated solution that will enable farmers stay connected, protect their livelihoods and improve productivity.
The bundle is part of PATA MORE, Safaricom’s new customer value proposition that enables customers to enjoy additional benefits and greater value from the products and services they already use.
Bundle Ya Wakulima brings together essential services in one affordable and convenient solution, providing farmers with support throughout the farming cycle.
It combines voice, data, SMS and WhatsApp access with insurance options, agricultural advisory services, discounted production support, including farm inputs and mechanisation with credit pathways for eligible farmers.
Speaking at a farmer engagement and empowerment forum in Bungoma, Safaricom’s Chief Consumer Business Officer, Fawzia Ali, emphasised the importance of equipping farmers with reliable information, protection and support to build resilient livelihoods, improve productivity and contribute to food security.
