Crazy Kennar Gets Two Selfies After Light Moment with President Kagame

Kenyan content creator Kennedy Odhiambo, popularly known as Crazy Kennar shared a light-hearted moment with Rwandan President Paul Kagame at the Africa Mindset Reset Forum in Kigali.

Kennar, who was given an opportunity to speak at the forum, used the moment to ask the president for a selfie.

He first introduced himself and shared an observation from researching on how Rwandans relate to their president.

During his research, Crazy Kennar said he spoke to people while walking around Kigali and found out that some viewed the head of state as a father figure.

“I thought that was a joke until today I witnessed you solving a case here and asking, ‘What did he say?’ So, Mr. President, your people really love you,” Kennar told the president.

The interaction then took a playful turn when he introduced himself as Crazy Kennar, prompting president Kagame to joke, “I am as crazy as you are.”

But Kennar had one final request, a selfie with the president as proof of how far his content creation career had taken him, just as his father had told him it could.

“Lastly, Mr. President, you know my father usually believed that content can take people places. For me, I just request a selfie to go and show him that I met the president of Rwanda,” he said.

The president responded with another light-hearted remark, offering Kennar more than he had asked for. “I’ll give you two.”
