KCB Launches Partner Wa Ground Kwa Mtaa for MSMEs

KCB Bank Kenya has launched the Partner wa Ground wa Mtaa activation, an initiative aimed at deepening financial inclusion across Kenya by bringing accessible financial solutions closer to communities across the country.

The campaign aims at supporting entrepreneurs and everyday customers with effective financial solutions to achieve long-term growth and businesss resilience.

In particular, the campaign focuses on  MSMEs, traders, entrepreneurs, women-led enterprises, youth-owned businesses and informal sector operators

Collectively, these groups are vital to Kenya’s economy and often require accessible financial services, business support and affordable banking solutions to expand and scale their businesses.

The activation will be rolled out across key regions such as Nairobi, Eastern, North-eastern, Central, Eastern, Rift Valley, and Nyanza for three months (July – September).

Through the campaign, customers will have the opportunity to access business financing, convenient payment solutions, tailored banking products and financial advisory services.

KCB and Mastercard Roll Out Sahl Card 

The activation builds on KCB’s broader efforts to expand access to financial services for different customer segments.

Earlier, the bank partnered with Mastercard to launch the Sahl Card under its Sahl Banking offering, providing a Shariah-compliant payments solution for customers seeking Islamic finance.

Meanwhile, the bank also introduced the Sahl Agency Banking network, enabling customers to deposit and withdraw cash, make payments, and access other banking services through agents.

Together with the Partner wa Ground Kwa Mtaa initiative, which targets MSMEs, youth, women and entrepreneurs, these initiatives broaden the bank’s reach across diverse customer groups.
