Legendary Kenyan musician David Mathenge, popularly known as Nameless, has announced that tickets for his highly anticipated ‘Nameless at 25’ concert have officially sold out.
The milestone event, slated for August 15 at the Carnivore Grounds, reached full capacity more than a month before the show date, underscoring the excitement surrounding the singer’s celebration of 25 years in the music industry.
In a post shared on his Instagram page on Monday, Nameless expressed gratitude to fans for turning up in large numbers and purchasing all the available tickets.
“Guys guys guys! I am filled with gratitude! The love is real! We are SOLD OUT and I can’t thank you enough!” he said.
However, the singer acknowledged that some fans may have missed out on tickets, explaining that he closed sales to ensure comfort and deliver a memorable experience for those who had already secured their spots.
“For the sake of comfort and a great experience, we have to close the tickets now! I know many of you may not have secured your tickets yet. We are looking at options of doing a Sunday show as well because the demand is high! Keep it here!!” he added.

Nameless Reflects on Fan Banter Ahead of Concert
As part of his message of gratitude, Nameless also reflected on the fun moments he has shared with fans in the lead-up to the concert, particularly the playful exchanges sparked by his viral videos poking fun at millennials for singing some of his lyrics incorrectly.
““I know we’ve been teasing each other with you millennials, but it’s all been in good fun and the love is there, 25 years and I’m feeling guys say, yes, finally let’s come and celebrate the journey.” He said.
Meanwhile, Nameless revealed that he had intentionally slowed down marketing efforts over the past week as he and his team weighed the possibility of staging the concert on a Sunday instead of Saturday, with an earlier start time in mind.
“I’ll be honest, I slowed down on marketing for the last week because we are trying to think what we should do. We’ve been having debates about having a Sunday show because I know there are so many guys who’ve not secured the tickets, they were like they will do it later on.” He said
Nameless At 25 Star Studded Line Up Adds to the Anticipation
Beyond the sold-out status, part of the excitement surrounding Nameless at 25 stems from the impressive lineup unveiled earlier this year.
The concert will feature some of the biggest names in Kenyan music, including Wahu, Jua Cali, Nyashinski, Wyre, Nazizi, Kidum, Mejja, Madtraxx, Bensoul and P-Unit.
Featuring artists from different generations and eras, the lineup promises to make the August 15 concert a fitting celebration of Nameless’ 25-year journey in the industry.
